On October 19, 2026, Home Bancorp reported its third-quarter 2026 financial results. Among other things, the Company reported net income of $10.1 million, or $1.28 per diluted common share (“diluted EPS”), down $1.5 million from $11.6 million, or $1.48 diluted EPS, for the second quarter of 2026. The Company further disclosed that “[n]onperforming loans increased during the quarter from $26.4 million to $42.2 million[,] or from 95 basis points to 1.52% of total loans, primarily due to [ ] 6 relationships.”

On this news, Home Bancorp stock fell $6.31, or 9.59%, to close at $59.47 on October 20, 2026, thereby injuring investors.
