On July 28, 2026, O-I Glass announced its second quarter 2026 financial results, substantially reducing its 2026 adjusted EBITDA and free cash flow guidance and realigning its 2027 Investor Day financial targets. The Company’s CEO, Gordon Hardie disclosed the shortfall was due to “commercial pressures, higher energy-related costs and operational challenges in Europe.”

On this news, O-I Glass stock fell $1.36 or 15.01%, to close at $7.70 on July 29, 2026, thereby injuring investors.
